Red Oak is one of our most popular domestic woods!
This North American hardwood works well with both hand and power tools. Priced very economically and easily sourced, this is a popular wood species used for almost all interior woodworking applications. If you’re looking to steam bend, you can expect good results with Red Oak. It also glues well and takes finish well though a pore filler may be desired to fill in the coarse grain.
